Definitions and Interpretation
Black Clinicians Meet LLC ("Organization," "we," "us," or "our"), is meant to include the Executive Team, and active members in good financial standing. Executive Team consist of the Director, Treasurer, Planning/Event Chair, and Secretary.
What Information do we collect?
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us. The personal information we collect may include the following:
names
phone numbers
email addresses
usernames
passwords
debit/credit card numbers
billing addresses
How do we have access to Black Clinicians Meet, LLC membership incentives?
Each active member will be charged a fee of $25 per month/$60 every three months depending on the payment plan selected by the member. As an active member, in good standing, you are entitled to exclusive access to BCM, private referral channel, job board, members only events, free promotion, free wind-down group sessions, free/discounted trainings, and private peer support groups.
As Black Clinicians Meet, LLC, we reserve the right to revoke membership for any reason if a member fails to obey a rule or regulation as outlined in the membership guidelines, cause a disturbance, leak private member information, misrepresent BCM, use Black Clinicians Meet LLC logo, brand or trademark without prior approval, or fail to pay membership dues.
You must live in the Atlanta or metro Atlanta area, and be current on all dues and/or fees.*
Are there rules regarding Membership Dues?
Active members are required to pay a monthly fee of $25 per month/$60 every 3 months. Dues not paid by the due date will be in violation of the organization membership rules, and will include revocation of membership, or placed on inactive status. Membership dues cover, and are not limited to group activity, subsidize event cost, website/social media maintenance and upkeep, marketing, etc.
Members can cancel their monthly membership at any time. However, Cancellations received after the deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
Registering for membership signifies that you are accepting this agreement and that you authorize Black Clinicians Meet, LLC to charge your monthly dues to the credit or debit card on file. You also agree to keep a valid and current credit card on file which your monthly dues are authorized to be made. In the event that your credit card account on record with expires or is no longer valid, you further agree to immediately furnish a valid card, or forfeit your membership.
Black Clinicians Meet, LLC reserves the right to change our membership fees at any time and any change will be immediately effective for new members and effective upon renewal of membership for existing members at the beginning of the calendar year.
Is Participation Mandatory?
As an active/paying member, we ask that you attend at least 1 event per month, or 2 per quarter. In addition, in the event that you RSVP to an event, you agree to either cancel timely, or pay for your portion divided per person, based on party size. As an active member you agree to not to speak in a disparaging manner about Black Clinicians Meet, LLC, its active members, or Executive Team.
Black Clinicians Meet, LLC reserve the right to limit the number of members or guests that may attend an event or activity. We also reserve the right to cancel or change the date, time, activity or venue for any reason, including but not limited to number of participants, COVID restrictions, or situations where the required number of participants have not been met.
By attending an event or activity, you consent to use of your photo, image, likeness, name, social media handle on Black Clinicians Meet, LLC website social media, promotional material or any of Black Clinicians Meet, LLC affiliates or sponsors.
Can we meet or hang out with other members outside of BCM events?
When contacting other members to arrange or meet, before or after an event or activity, or outside of Black Clinicians Meet, LLC social platform, becoming a member means you agree to use caution you would undertake when meeting other people you do not know and acknowledge and agree that Black Clinicians Meet, LLC shall have no responsibility or liability in connection with such communication or meetings.
